Durn computer
Yeah, I've got a Trojan virus that I can't seem to shake. My Symantec says I'm clean, but Microsoft insists I'm not, and I need to buy a $50 download from them.So, for now, I'm operating in Safe Mode, which makes the screen look like the web browser is made by Fisher Price.Very annoying. Especially as I have work to do.

My first question is, have you updated Symantec recently? Also, what is the name of the virus you have? You should google it and see if someone has a fix for the virus. McAfee, Trend and Symantec often have one-shot virus fixes that will clean problems out. Also, make sure you turn off System Restore before you run any fix, in case the virus tries to use it to reinstall itself. Turn it back on after everything is clean.
